Day 01 Arrival at Jaipur
You will be received at the Jaipur airport and be transferred to the
hotel. Go on a guided sightseeing tour of the Pink City, with Hawa
Mahal, City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar and an elephant safari to the
Amber Fort as its highlights. Spend the evening at leisure or go for
shopping in the bazaars of Jaipur and enjoy typical Rajasthani cuisine
for dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 02 Udaipur
In the morning, drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Check in at the
hotel on arrival. Visit the City Palace and its museum, the famous
temples of Nagada and Eklingji Temples, Pratap Memorial, cruise in Lake
Pichola and see the island palaces of Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Udaipur.
Day 03 Nawalgarh
Drive to Nawalgarh in the Shekhwati region, which is famous for its
stunning frescoes and paintings. The drive will take about four hours.
Check in at the hotel from arrival from where you will be taken to Royal
Equestrian and Polo Center, 30 km from the city. Here, you will start on
your horse safari, the only one in India acknowledged by and affiliated
to the Equestrian Federation of India. You will ride on a horse on the
sand dunes, hills, vast expanse of desert and forests and visit villages
and hamlets. Dinner comprising of typical cuisine of Rajasthan and
overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 Ranakpur
Continue your horse safari from early in the morning and visit the
famous Jain Temples of Ranakpur. The temples are built in marble and are
beautifully carved. The main shrine is dedicated to Adinath and has 1444
columns. One of the other temples famous here is the Sun Temple. Reach
Kotri in the evening, where you will stay in Kotri castle or tents
overnight.
Day 05 Kotri
After a filling and delicious breakfast, visit the famous Marwari stud
farm in Barkana, while riding on the horse. Barkana is a famous Jain
pilgrimage center too and you may a visit and homage in the celestial
school of Jains here. After lunch, ride back to Kotri and pass through
farming hutment and then follow a dry riverbed full of Accacia plants.
You will be flattered to have a hot dinner ready for you in your tented
accommodation at the campsite after the long ride of 33 km. Overnight
stay in the tents.
Day 06 Hemawas/Kharwa
Leave for Hemawas after breakfast and pass through several small
village settlements in between. You will love to mingle with warm,
friendly and hospitable natives on the way and you will see a glimpse of
the true rural life of Rajasthan. One can see men rearing camels and
wearing colorful turbans and women busy with their little ones adorned
bedecked in heavy silver jewelry, veils and colorful skirts.
Relax for sometime at the lakeside and then continue your safari to
Kharwa, where you can visit the massive fort, a man-made lake and the
tomato cultivation farm. In the evening, a bonfire party is organized
for you, enlivened by the folk, dance, music and song performances by
the natives. Overnight stay in the tented accommodation.
Day 07 Jaipur
Have a farewell breakfast at the camp as the tour ends and then drive
back to Jaipur airport, where you can catch the flight to onward
destination.
